Tour Itinerary & Route Plan

Day 1: Bangkok | Arrival & Story Briefing

Your journey begins in the warm embrace of Thailand’s legendary hospitality.

Arrive in Bangkok and settle into your accommodation. In the evening, meet your Storyteller and fellow travelers for a detailed tour briefing. This is a moment of connection — setting expectations, sharing stories, and opening the door to the experiences ahead.

Optional evening strolls introduce you to Bangkok’s rhythm: street food aromas, temple bells, and the gentle chaos that makes this city unforgettable.

Overnight in Bangkok

Begin the day in Bangkok’s Chinatown, where narrow lanes pulse with life. Walk through vibrant markets, historic shophouses, and golden shrines that reveal the city’s multicultural roots.

Next, glide through Thonburi’s canals on a traditional longtail boat. This former capital shows a quieter side of Bangkok — wooden stilt houses, riverside temples, and daily life unfolding along the water.

In the afternoon, visit Wat Pho, home of the Reclining Buddha and the birthplace of traditional Thai massage. Wander through courtyards filled with ancient wisdom and sacred art.

Enjoy free time afterward to explore at your own pace.

Overnight in Bangkok

Leave the city behind and head southwest.

Witness the unforgettable spectacle of Mae Klong Railway Market, where vendors calmly clear their stalls as a train passes directly through the market — a perfect example of Thai adaptability and everyday wonder.

Continue to a traditional floating market, boarding a local boat to experience canal-side commerce as it has existed for generations.

In the afternoon, travel onward to Kanchanaburi. Visit the Thai–Burma Railway Museum and War Cemetery, learning the deeply human stories behind the Death Railway. End the day at the Bridge over the River Kwai, where history and reflection meet as the sun sets.

Overnight in Kanchanaburi

Nature takes center stage today.

Explore Erawan National Park, home to one of Thailand’s most beautiful waterfalls. Seven cascading tiers flow through lush jungle, offering natural pools and peaceful forest trails.

In the afternoon, experience a scenic ride along the historic Death Railway, crossing wooden trestles and river valleys. The journey blends breathtaking landscapes with quiet remembrance.

Evening is free to relax by the river.

Overnight in Kanchanaburi

Travel through Thailand’s heartland to Ayutthaya, the former Siamese capital and UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Explore iconic temples:

  • Wat Chaiwatthanaram, a majestic riverside ruin
  • Wat Mahathat, home to the famous Buddha head entwined in tree roots
  • Wat Phra Sri Sanphet, once the royal temple of the kingdom

As the sun lowers, the ruins glow with warm light, bringing centuries of history vividly to life.

Overnight in Ayutthaya

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Chiang Mai.

Upon arrival, ascend Doi Suthep Mountain to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, Chiang Mai’s most sacred temple. From its golden chedi, enjoy panoramic views over the city.

In the evening, experience a traditional Khantoke Dinner, featuring northern Thai cuisine, cultural performances, and warm Lanna hospitality.

Overnight in Chiang Mai

Today is yours to shape.

Choose from optional activities such as:

  • Thai cooking class
  • Countryside cycling through villages and rice fields
  • Artisan workshops (weaving, pottery, wood carving)
  • Temple visits and meditation experiences

In the evening, explore Chiang Mai Night Market, a lively blend of handicrafts, street food, and local culture.

Later, board the overnight sleeper train back to Bangkok — a gentle, nostalgic journey under starlit skies.

Overnight sleeper train

Arrive in Bangkok in the early morning.

As the train pulls into the station, reflect on the journey — rivers crossed, histories uncovered, mountains climbed, and stories shared.

You didn’t just visit Thailand.
You experienced its rhythm, resilience, and heart.

Tour ends in Bangkok.
