Day 1: The Start - Getting Ready for Our Story
Evening: Meeting Our Group
Welcome to Bangkok! As the city lights turn on, we meet in the hotel lobby for the official start of our trip. Tonight, your Storyteller will share the exciting plan for the days ahead, giving you tips to make every moment better. This is where our group’s story truly begins, as we meet, share excitement, and get ready for the amazing days to come.
Day 2: Bangkok - Surat Thani: City Life Story
Morning & Afternoon: Living Like a Bangkok Local
Today, we jump into the lively story of Bangkok! Our ‘Steps of Bangkok Local’s Tour’ helps you feel like a local. You will experience the city’s energy using different transport—the fun Tuk Tuk, the breezy Express Boat, the fast Sky Train, and the underground train. We will enjoy a 1-hour sightseeing tour by EV tuk-tuk, seeing famous places like Government House, Democracy Monument, Marble Palace, Golden Mount, Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the Giant Swing. The tuk-tuk ride will end at the Flower Market, where we will then explore the market by walking. Afterwards, we will visit holy temples that tell old tales and walk through busy streets. It’s a day of real experiences, finding the everyday stories of this amazing city.
Evening: Travel to the South
As the sun sets on our Bangkok adventure, we move to a new part of our trip. Tonight, we take an overnight sleeping train to Surat Thani. This is a classic Thai experience that adds a special rhythm to our journey. Get comfortable, think about what you saw today, and let the gentle rocking of the train take you towards the natural wonders of the south.
Day 3: Surat Thani - Khao Sok: Nature's Big Story
Morning & Afternoon: Green Waters and Stone Cliffs
Waking up in Surat Thani, we travel to the stunning Ratchaprapha Dam, where a new big story begins. Glide on the green waters by longtail boat, surrounded by tall stone cliffs that tell stories of ancient times. We will stop at a peaceful rafthouse for activities like kayaking and swimming. Here, we can truly feel this beautiful natural place. A local lunch in this paradise will feed both body and mind, making us feel closer to Thailand’s wild heart.
Late Afternoon: Rainforest Hug
Our journey continues to the grand Khao Sok Rainforest, a place with many different plants and animals, and old wisdom. Here, the air is full of the jungle’s whispers. If you want more excitement, an optional tubing trip down the Khao Sok River gives a fun view of this natural wonder. Tonight, the rainforest will tell us stories, singing us to sleep.
Day 4: Khao Sok - Railay, Krabi: Island Trip Starts
Morning: From Jungle to Coastal Beauty
Leaving the magical Khao Sok National Park, our story changes from thick jungle to stunning coastal beauty. We travel about 3 hours to the Ao Nang pier in Krabi. From the pier, we take a short 15-minute longtail boat ride to Railay, a hidden gem of Thailand with amazing cliffs and beaches. Welcome to your next beautiful chapter!
Day 5: Railay to Ao Nang: Your Own Island Day
Full Day: Your Coastal Break
Today is your day to write your own story in Railay! This beautiful place offers many choices for your personal tales. You can relax on the stunning beaches, try rock climbing, or explore hidden lagoons. The day is yours to create. In the late afternoon, we will take a longtail boat to Ao Nang, Krabi, where we will stay for the next part of our adventure.
Day 6: Ao Nang: Underwater Stories
Full Day: Under the Water – A World of Colors
Today, our story takes us to the clear blue waters! Get ready for an unforgettable snorkeling trip from Ao Nang. Dive into the clear waters, where colorful fish swim around beautiful coral reefs. This part of the trip is a bright, living example of Thailand’s amazing underwater world. A tasty lunch will give us energy for more water fun.
Day 7: Ao Nang - Bangkok: The End - Until We Meet Again
Morning: Flight Back Home
As morning arrives, we prepare for our flight back to Bangkok, bringing our great trip to an end. It’s a mix of happy and sad feelings as we say goodbye to our fellow travelers, now full of shared memories and new friends. Your Storyteller is here to help with any onward travel advice you need next, making sure your journey continues smoothly. Even though this Story Touring trip concludes, the stories you have lived and the connections you have made will last a lifetime.
